Thoughts of working with non-models

You'd think over time that one would get bored or tired of working with people who have had no particular training in posing or posturing or otherwise making themselves look magnificent for a photographer.

I have to admit that on occasion I tend to get a good chuckle out of certain events. A good natured chuckle, of course. I mean, I do not even have to try to be a photographer like you see on Top Model or other such show with pompous and arrogant "artists" barking orders and generally making pretty people cry for no other reason than ratings.

No, not I.

But... A good hearted chuckle is something we can all share. I find that I myself have the hardest time explaining what I mean the bride to do or how to hold her hand or bend her back and show her neck, etc...

Occasionally, you will even catch me poorly attempting to show a bride how to make her body look like a sexy S-Curve. Believe me when I tell you that is not an event you want to participate in unless you really want a good heart laugh.
